Lexus Rx300 Driver Door Wont Lock

Hi had a problem with power windows in 2000 lexus rx300 the master switch in the driver door was replaced but now only 1 door lock passenger on driver side is responding correctly to the power doo read more.

The driver door lock actuator doesn t work to lock the car via the key remote. Used to work normally just recently stopped. Used to work normally just recently stopped. Very very common on the rx.

2002 lexus rx 300 awd the door lock acuator on the drivers side door does not unlock with the remote outside of the car. 2001 lexus rx300 driver s door lock will not respond to the remote or the inside switch on the door. The remote is fine works for all other doors when i click unlock once its suppose to unlock the driverr side door i hear a clicking noise but the driver s door lock wont unlock same when i try to lock it. I ve looked at the diy online repair advice.

1 the lock issue not a big deal the power lock actuator in the driver door is worn out. The manual swith works everytime and the remote works when inside the car. Also surprisingly the car does unlock using the key remote so the actuator is not completely shot. It is a 2001 lexus rx300.

The key does however work to manually lock all the doors in the car. The other three doors work perfectly. This is a video to show you how to change your door lock settings using your smart key. I have a lexus rx300 2001.
